Description
Classic hunter bullets are made of copper alloy with 10% zinc (CuZn10), which ensures that the material is tough enough to prevent the bullet from deforming and crumbling when crossing obstacles. Grooves are provided around the circumference of the cylindrical part of the ball in order to reduce the contact area between the ball and the barrel. The front part has a bore which is approximately 1/3 of the total length of the sphere, in this way the degree of deformation of the sphere is determined. A tip made of a temperature resistant polymer is inserted into the bore to give the ball its characteristic finished appearance.
