General Terms and Conditions

 

The General Terms and Conditions of the Bock.si online shop are drawn up in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot), on the basis of the recommendations of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and international e-commerce codes.

The General Terms and Conditions of Business deal with the operation of the Bock.si online shop, the rights of the user and the business relationship between the provider and the buyer.

 

Accessibility of information

The Supplier undertakes to provide the following information to the Buyer at all times:

  • the identity of the company (name and registered office, registration number),
  • contact details that allow the user to communicate quickly and efficiently (email, phone),
  • the essential features of the goods or services (including after-sales service and guarantees),
  • product accessibility (every product or service offered on the website should be accessible within a reasonable time),
  • the terms of delivery of the product or service (method, place and time of delivery),
  • all prices must be clearly and unambiguously stated and it must be shown whether they already include taxes and transport costs,
  • method of payment and delivery,
  • an explanation of the complaints procedure, including full details of the contact person or customer service.

 

Offer of items

Due to the nature of doing business on the World Wide Web, the offer of the Bock.si online shop is updated and changes frequently and quickly.

Prices are presented as online prices. The online price is the price applicable to online purchases in the case of immediate 100% payment by bank transfer, PayPal or credit card.

 

Payment methods

The provider offers the following payment methods:

  • by transfer to the administrator’s business account (by pre-invoicing); account no. SI56 1010 0005 3940 628, opened with Banka Intesa Sanpaolo d.d.,
  • by credit or debit card via Stripe.

 

Prices

All prices are final, unless explicitly stated otherwise. BOCK, d.o.o., Kranj is a taxable company and all prices are subject to VAT.

Prices are valid at the time of ordering and have no pre-determined validity.

Prices are valid in the case of payment by the payment methods indicated above, under the conditions indicated above.

Despite our best efforts to provide the most up-to-date and accurate information, it is possible that a price may be incorrect. In this case, or in the event that the price of the item changes during the processing of the order, the Provider will allow the Purchaser to withdraw from the purchase and the Provider will offer the Purchaser a mutually satisfactory solution.

The purchase contract between the provider and the buyer is concluded at the moment when the provider confirms the order (the buyer receives an e-mail with the Order Confirmed status). From that moment on, all prices and other conditions are fixed and apply to both the provider and the buyer.

 

Campaigns

Discounts are not cumulative, unless otherwise stated in the Promotion Terms and Conditions. One promotional code can be used for each purchase.

 

Purchase procedure

  1. Order in queue
    After placing an order, the customer receives an email notification that the order has been accepted into the queue. At this step, the customer has the option to cancel the order. The Buyer shall always have access to comprehensive information on the status and content of the order on the Supplier’s website.
  2. Order confirmed
    If the buyer does not cancel the order, the order is processed further, when the provider reviews the order, checks the deliverability of the ordered items and confirms or rejects the order with a reason. The Supplier may call the Buyer on the Buyer’s contact telephone number to verify the information or to ensure the accuracy of the delivery. Upon confirmation of the order, the Provider shall inform the Buyer by e-mail of the estimated delivery time.
  3. Goods dispatched
    The Supplier prepares and dispatches the goods within the agreed time and notifies the Buyer by email.
  4. Returns
    Returns can be made within 14 days of receipt of the item. The item must be in its original packaging, unaltered and undamaged at the time of return. The cost of the return shall be borne by the customer.

 

Guarantee

The warranty is valid subject to the instructions on the warranty card and the presentation of an invoice. The warranty periods are indicated on the product warranty card or on the invoice.

 

Delivery and return

The Supplier will deliver the goods or services within the agreed time, unless unforeseeable events beyond its control occur (natural disasters, unexpected delay in delivery by suppliers, etc.).

Unless otherwise specified, the delivery time is 2-7 days. For certain products that are ordered by configuration, we will inform you of the delivery time when you place your order.

The buyer (customer) is the payer of delivery and return. The delivery price is indicated during the order itself. The costs of delivery and return of the goods shall be borne by the Buyer in the event of the consumer’s right under the Consumer Protection Act to conclude distance contracts.

The contractual partner for the delivery of the parcels is Pošta Slovenije, but the tenderer reserves the right to choose another delivery service if this will enable the order to be fulfilled more efficiently. The Supplier reserves the right to deliver the Shipment within 3 days of notification of shipment.

 

Protection of personal data

The Provider undertakes to keep all personal data of the User secure at all times.

The Provider will use the personal data solely for the purpose of fulfilling the order (sending information material, quotations, invoices) and other necessary communication.

Under no circumstances will user data be passed on to unauthorised persons.

It is the user’s responsibility to protect the security of their personal data by ensuring the security of their username and password.

 

Communication

The Provider will contact the User by means of distance communication only if the User does not expressly object.

The advertisement emails will contain the following elements:

  • they will be clearly and unambiguously identified as advertising messages,
  • the sender will be clearly visible,
  • various campaigns, promotions and other marketing techniques will be labelled as such. The conditions for participation in them will also be clearly defined,
  • a clear explanation of how to opt-out of receiving advertising messages,
  • the user’s wish not to receive advertising messages will be explicitly respected by the provider.

 

Disclaimer

The Provider shall use its best endeavours to ensure that the information published on its website is up-to-date and correct. However, the characteristics of the items, the delivery date or the price may change so quickly that the supplier is unable to correct the information on the website. In such a case, the supplier will inform the customer of the changes and give the customer the opportunity to withdraw from the order or to exchange the item ordered.

The Provider is not responsible for the content of the reviews written by visitors. The Provider shall review the reviews before publication and reject those that are manifestly untrue, misleading or offensive. The Provider is not responsible for the information contained in the reviews and disclaims any liability arising from the information contained in the reviews.

Although the supplier endeavours to provide accurate photographs of the items for sale, all photographs should be taken as symbolic. Photographs do not guarantee the characteristics of the product.

 

Complaints and disputes

The Provider complies with applicable consumer protection legislation. The Provider shall make every effort to comply with its obligation to establish an effective complaint handling system and to designate a person whom the Customer may contact by telephone or e-mail in the event of a problem.

Within 5 working days, the provider will acknowledge receipt of the complaint, inform the customer how long it will take to process and keep the customer informed of the progress of the complaint.

The Provider is aware that an essential feature of consumer litigation, at least as far as judicial settlement is concerned, is the disproportion between the economic value of the claim and the costs incurred in settling the dispute itself. This is also the main obstacle to a consumer not bringing a dispute before the courts. Therefore, the provider shall make every effort to resolve any disputes amicably.

 

Out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes

In accordance with the legal norms, BOCK, d.o.o., Kranj does not recognise any provider of out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes as competent for the resolution of a consumer dispute that a consumer could initiate in accordance with the Act on Out-of-Court Settlement of Consumer Disputes.

BOCK, d.o.o., Kranj, which as a provider of goods and services facilitates online commerce in the territory of the Republic of Slovenia, publishes on its website an electronic link to the Online Consumer Dispute Resolution Platform (ODRP). The platform is available to consumers here:

These rules are based on the Law on Out-of-Court Settlement of Consumer Disputes, Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council on online dispute resolution for consumer disputes and amending Regulation (EC) No 2016/2004 and Directive 2009/22/EC.
