The foam can be used with a tested dispensing device or with the included adapter.
Mode of action: the Duftzaun® is based on a special foam that is applied to the black spots after an accident. Exposure to UV rays opens tiny pores in the foam, which release a scent composed of components of wolf, lynx, bear and human odours. The sensitising effect of the Scent Fence® is based on the interaction between a cocktail of odours, road noise and vehicle movements. Application: Duftzaun® chemical fence can be easily installed by attaching foam deposits to bollards, road borders or trees along at-risk roads or road sections (accident blackspots).It is also excellent for protecting cultivated areas (fields, gardens, orchards, vineyards). Once applied, the foam deposit (bead) can withstand weathering for up to 5 years. For optimum fencing effect, it is important to build a continuous fence between the road and the woodland or meadow. Therefore, place foam balls at intervals of about 5 metres parallel to the edge of the road on wooden poles or trees in two offset rows. One can of Duftzaun® foam contains approximately 45 litres of foam. This is equivalent to approximately 200 tennis ball sized foam balls. One can of Duftzaun® foam can thus protect approximately 500 metres of road.
To maintain effectiveness, the foam balls should be re-soaked with Hagopur Scent Fence Concentrate at least twice a year.
