Description
Nordik Barrborn Crow is a series of two crow attracting whistles; Nordik Barrborn Basic Crow and Nordik Barrborn Pro Crow. These calls are designed and manufactured by Roger Barrborn in collaboration with Nordikpredator.
The calls are specifically developed to generate a wide variety of crow calls and sounds. The design makes the call very easy to use.
Use Nordik Barrborn Basic to create softer basic sounds to let crows know that the area is safe.
The Nordik Barrborn Pro is to be used for a series of calls that attract and disturb crows.
We recommend using both calls together to create a duo of sounds and calls. By accessing both calls, you can change the softer sounds of the basic call with the aggressive calls of the professional call.
The principle is to place the whistle in the mouth, in front of the teeth, leaving a small gap of 3-4 mm between the upper and lower front teeth. By creating a rough R-sound without any force, you will easily create a basic sound that you can use and modify.
Once you are able to create a real sound that you can use as a calm contact call, you can start to change that. If you change how hard you press the mouthpiece with your fingers or bite it, you will quickly notice changes in the sounds. To create even more variation, keep your hand clenched in front of the sound chamber and open and close it.
